We are committed to the preservation of our local history. As a chapter, we support the Prairie House Project and continue to do so by being docents, helping with special events, teas, etc. One of our members, Gail Loafman, is the Founder and served as Chair of the Board of Directors for this project. Gail is responsible for having our Stephens County Genealogical Library building and the Prairie House put on the National Register of Historic Places. On June 4, 2007, she was awarded the NSDAR "National Historical Preservation Medal."

We participate in the “Wreaths Across America” project. We place wreaths for each branch of our military plus POW/MIAs at the Marlow Cemetery in Marlow, Oklahoma. The ceremony is conducted by our Chaplain and Regent with local veterans assisting.
